니셜이 R.V.인 58세의 남자가 회의중에 갑자기 얼굴을 포함한 그의 신체의 오른쪽 부분에 대한 조절을 할 수 없었다.
-He cannot move his left eye medially, downward, or upward.
-The left pupil is dilated and does not contract in response to light shined into either eye.

다. 임상적 검사결과는 다음과 같았다.
Somatosensation is intact.
R.V. 58-year-old man, was in a meeting when suddenly he lost control of the right side of his body, including his face. He slumped in his chair, and the right side of his face appeared to sag, but he did not lose consciousness. R.V. complains of double vision. The clinical findings are as follows:
Movement and strength on the left side of his body are normal. He is able to sit unassisted in a chair with arm and back support but cannot sit unassisted without support. R.V. is able to voluntarily move his right upper limb at the shoulder and his right lover limb at the hip, but strength is less than half that of the left side. He cannot move any other joints in his limbs on the right.
-He cannot fully open his left eye(left eyelid droops).
